CHOCOLATE EGG WRAPPING MACHINE LC 901
Automatic machine with bowknot tying device

The egg, placed manually on the chain, is fed to the base loading station (with base picked up from a loader), the sheet cutter section (with wrapping material cut from a reel), the wrapping unit and the final tying area, with round string cut from a spool and fashioned into a bowknot.
Standard manual feeder chain with seven-egg capacity or customized as required.
Fabrication of automatic loading devices also possible.
Sheet prints centered through photocell thus option to operate with continuous or centered print reels.
Simple format change, with just a few mechanical elements to be replaced and parameter settings from operator interface display.
Tying into bowknot ensures both a perfect close and fast untying by simply pulling one of the ends.
Precise sheet folds produce a wrapping requiring minimum final adjustments at the exit.
Entirely closed machine.
Centralized lubrication of main moving parts, easy inspection of movements, start-up with motor built into the bedplate.
Electronic device for continuous speed adjustment.
CE-compliant build.
Continuous operation only with safeguards closed and under totally safe conditions.
Device enables wrapping cycle only when egg presence is detected.
Automatic machine stop in case of egg breakage.

The machine’s moving parts are entirely enclosed, in full compliance with CE norms. Safety conditions are guaranteed when the operator loads the egg manually on the feeder chain.
A loader picks up the base automatically and places it in the basket with the egg.
These are then advanced to the wrapping section. At the same time, the sheet is cut from the reel to the length preset on the display, with either continuous or centered print.
The egg and base are fed to the wrapping unit, while a sheet clinging system shapes the wrapping in order to ensure minimum pressure on the egg and avoid risk of breakage.
An adjustable contrast creates the necessary pressure on the sheet to regulate the wrapping’s adherence to the egg.
When the sheet drawing process is complete, chokes close the wrapping around the egg.

Once the egg is wrapped, it is transferred to the tying unit and closed with a 1 to 3 mm wide string, which is unwound from a spool. The string is fashioned into a double bowknot that is extremely easy to untie by simply pulling one of the ends.
The wrapped egg is then placed on a belt conveyor that leads it towards the machine exit and into the packing area or an additional conveyor for final packaging.
